Highest Paying IB Groups
What groups in banking pay the highest in terms of senior bankers? I know that pay is variable due to performance, but will a rainmaker in a certain group make more than in another?

EB M&A guys usually bring in more fees and command higher pay
Assume top coverage bankers who own relationships make a ton more than their equivalent product partners who simply do execution without owning a lot of big relationships with clients..just my opinion could be wrong.

This is a silly question. It varies immensely by bank, depending on deal flow and the strengths of a given team. There is no universal highest paying industry/product group across all banks.
