I don't want to get overly specific because I'm not a doctor, but I like to target the cholinergic system through things like alpha gpc, ginkgo biloba, even nicotine. This helps me a lot with attention particularly. Not recommending you do these supplements btw, but just trying simple behavioural changes like getting good sleep, putting your phone away, maintaining a lower body weight, doing dopamine resets, can all push you massively. I've struggled a lot with this in the past, and am always looking for ways to improve it.

The below is to maximize productivity in all aspects of life. Not likely to be able to hit everything, especially if you're a banker or someone who works long hours.

Develop a routine and stick to it. Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day (including weekends).

Eat at the same time every day - at my most productive I ate the same food every day at around the same time every day. This leads to daily shits at the same time.

Work out at the same time every day - do a warmup, lift, then cool down with cardio. Develop a mobility routine - doesn't have to be every day, but I've never met anyone who complained their groin was too loose.

Limit screen time - in modern society we look at a screen 12+ hours a day. This is not natural. Don't watch tv or scroll on your phone or play video games before you sleep.

Limit drugs and alcohol (better yet cut them out completely). No coffee. Drink water.

Doing the above should increase your productivity 10x, however this almost certainly will not be the case. I don't even follow the above - sure, I'm operating on arguably a less than optimal schedule, but I like to eat different food every day. I like playing video games. I like watching TV. Following the above 100% of the time most likely will lead to your mental health declining in addition to more stress on your social life.

Find what you can improve upon and start small.
