How many suit jackets/blazers do I need to buy? (Intern on budget)

If I'm interning at a company with business formal dress code (except casual Fridays), how many suit jackets/blazers should I buy? And should I get mostly black so I can mix and match easily, or will that make me look like I'm wearing the same thing every day? Just to be clear, business formal means suits everyday, yes? (No cardigans, dresses, etc?)

Also, is it a faux pas on wall street to mix and match separates? ex: black blazer and white cropped pants or black suit jacket and tan pants?

Would prefer to not break the bank, but will still spend enough to dress the part.

I would assume from the dresses and cardigans comment yeah haha. Go with a gray / charcoal and a navy. As an intern 2-3 is fine.

Mixing and matching you tend to see from the older guys. Navy jacket and tan pants, that's the worst.

do not wear that outfit again. Wear a dress, a skirt or something... Come on. You're prettier than that...

... And high heels. I like high heels.

FYI, awesome screen name.
