How much did the richest drug dealer you personally know make?
With the El Chapo trial coming to an end, I thought this would be a noteworthy discussion. Drug Dealers are often considered the ultimate grinders. I knew one in college who branched out 3 fraternities and he told me he made $70,000 annually before his apartment got raided. Any similar stories?
When you’re in high school / college, it seems like drug dealers have so much money. In reality, they don’t make shit and they risk it all to do so. Know a guy who had saved $50k from his “business”. Thought it was a lot when I was 17, didn’t realize how little it was until I started working
Most drug dealers don't disclose how much they make. Most street weed dealers barely make shit and smoke all their profit. They're happy doing that, paying rent, and buying video games. Numbers vary wildly based on what and where you sell and to who. In Chicago, a good street coke dealer might make a few grand a day. I'll speak to weed since I only sold a little coke. When I was one tier above the street weed dealer, mostly buy a pound break it down into zips type shit, I was making like $1-$2K a week. When I started buying a little more bulk and selling quarter and half lbs, I was making like $4K-$5K per week. But that was mostly due to the decreased price per gram on the existing sales - not on the new business. And it's usually not new business. Either the guy buying ounces wants to start buying more or you convince him to. You can exist for a long time in that cushy middle ground where you're not handling huge amounts, but you're not doing street deals either. I got greedy and started selling quads and shit even while selling QPs and shit. Cause like fuck it why not, I'm just sitting here smoking weed watching movies anyway, sure come through for a dub you fuck. That's 80% profit when you're buying in bulk vs 40-50 for a street dealer. Then I got bold AND greedy and started a whole Tinder marketing campaign. Grindr too. So I had a lot of gay clients and like 20% would, knowing I was straight and in a relationship, always try to talk me into getting head from them. Gay dudes are always trying to fuck you if you're nice to them. Very obnoxious. Anyway. That's what fucked me. Ended up selling to some undercovers - first an eighth and then a half P a month later. I got four felonies now. Best shit that ever happened to me tbh. Thankfully, I had an office job at the time where I'd run down to the lobby and serve an ounce in a yellow envelope in the lobby in the Loop lol. So I stuck it out at that garbage job for 3 years, finished probation, was forced to start my own shit 'cause nobody would hire me, and now I make more and sleep easier and life is nice. And for the record, that was my second time selling weed. I paid for a lot of college with the money I made selling for a couple years in high school. I always had jobs too though. I made like $15K in optical commissions by 19. Having a job while you sell drugs is a good setup.
Amazing story bud
Troll or cop?
750k a month
I know he made $300k over the span of a few months in 2013 and I know that me and another guy buried $500k in the woods for him after he got arrested in Northern California. At that time, he was caught with a lot of money which is apparently an offensive in and of itself.
A lot of money with no reporting to the IRS is circumstantial evidence when building a case that someone sells drugs. If that’s the only evidence no judge will take the case. But if it’s a lot of evidence, having a lot of cash is just one more brick to pile on.
Like $50k or $60k but if you're going to do something illegal it should be white collar securities fraud because the upside is really high and the downside is like 1 month in jail and maybe a TV show.
Seems like you've thought a lot about this
I will take the fall for you when caught if you hire me as an intern this summer. That is how loyal I am.

Freeway Ricky Ross made something like $30MM. Ridiculous and obviously extremely rare. The documentary Cocaine Cowboys is really really good.
Personally, like $70k. You can make that much getting a decent job or just selling anything else really...
