How to get a cell to display the formula of another cell
I have cells
A1 B1 C1 and D1
I have B1 drawing data from C1 and D1
I want A1 to show the formula in B1
Assume C1 = $5.00 and d1 = $2.25
B1 is coded as "=C1+D1" but displays as $7.25
I want A1 to display as =C1+D1. How do I code A1 for that?
ctrl ~
caller id?
public function DisplayFormula(target as range) as string
DisplayFormula = target.formula
end function
something like that should work
A1=FORMULATEXT(B1)
This only works in Excel 2013.
A1=FORMULATEXT(B1)
This only works in Excel 2013.
