Hypothetical Q - Renege via failing drug test

Hi guys, hypothetically, if one were to renege via failing a drug test what would happen? Aren't the results of a failed drug test private info? Assume that you won't have contact with this firm and you won't want to work for it in the future.
Shut up already. Your mindless, reflexive responses to any critical thought on this are tedious. You're also probably a woman, given the name and "xoxo" signoff, so maybe the lack of judgment is to be expected.
Obviously not the most original or clever burn but it was the best I could do at the moment. Thanks for the faux support.

What do you mean renege? They're going to see you failed the drug test and they're going to put a red mark next to your name you'll never be able to work at their company. You're not a "pimp" you failed the easiest test you'll ever get in finance, get lost kid.

most contracts will state that the offer is conditional on you passing certain checks and tests, such as your drug test. so if you fail the test, they are not "reneging" on the offer. the definition of reneging is to "go back on a promise, undertaking, or contract." it is you who is going against the terms and conditions of the contract, and therefore it is void.

I ain't no lawyer but my reading comprehension skills sure are better than yours, "pimp". cheers!

The way I read that is this:

OP wants to renege on the offer but instead on reneging he will just fail the drug test (thus creating no hard feelings by not burning bridges and jeopardizing his other offer)

Lots of hate!

Seriously, yeah it's not technically reneging but we know what you mean. I definitely wouldn't do that. There's too much risk that your name could be associated with drug use forever. Just not worth the risk. Also just out of curiosity, do you do a lot of drugs? If not, are you going to intentionally take drugs just so you can fail a test...just so you don't have to send an email saying, "Dear [], Regrettably I will need to ..."?

Anyway, yeah, just send 'em an email and say thank but no thanks. Way easier than the "alternative".

Alright bro, I'm just getting cold feet I guess and to answer your question I do smoke weed on occasion lol I cant imagine someone trying drugs just so they can fail the test.

Seemed like a pretty straight forward question. I doubt there would be additional ramifications. Still gotta pass the second drug test though...
