I brought up Wolf of Wall Street in my interview

The associate asked why I would prefer to be in investment banking instead of wealth management (I have an offer at a WM / FP firm). My answer started with me wanting to make money move not just talk about it. This led me into talking about watching wolf of Wall Street and the big short in college and being inspired to go into a more demanding financial role. Now this dude probably thinks I just wanna be the next Jordan Belfort. I feel like this is almost as bad as saying you want to be in investment banking for the money

I said something like that during one of my first interview as a freshman at non target. I thought IB = Jordan Belfort.

Could have taken it to next level. Strippers, elevator sex, secretary getting breast implant for bonus, etc etc

I was in a capital markets interview. I was so nervous in the final round that when the interviewer asked me to name a stock I DIDN'T like (short on it), I could not name a single company. I was so embarrassed the rest of the interview felt like a farce and was just going through the motions. Bad interviews happen just have to take it on the chin and learn from it.
