Kinda sketchy if you ask me, how can you do what I assume is a 10-week summer internship and not have tangible experience other than just industry research, did you not model even if it wasn't a live deal? Do you plan to recruit for SA, if so, you will be expected to talk about it. The worst thing you can do for yourself is lie on your resume, bankers will snuff it out and promptly proceed to ding you.

I've been spreading comps for the past 5 weeks at my boutique

Seconding this. Not sure why the person above is expecting you to have done modeling experience on the job as they're not even going to trust your models in the first place.

Ok. I guess I just don’t want to be called out for not doing “real work” or something during an interview

Did you do other excel-related tasks (comps, charts) enough to fill out your resume?

Write bullet points about what you actually did and then have someone mock interview you specifically about the experience. No one interns to have live deal experience but if you can talk for a few minutes about your tasks that's plenty. Especially in a virtual environment the expectations are pretty low
