In a career cross roads.. Need desperate help!
About to graduate with a Bachelor in BA with a finance and accounting track and am looking into an Msc in statistics. I was wondering whether there are finance positions where this sort of background would make me a competitive job applicant. Is it a bad idea to turn to quant considering that I am unable to restart and get a numerate bachelor? I really enjoy the field (statistics) and am looking for a way out of accounting & finance. I thought of risk management, but it seems like the two paths for that are either heavy in accounting or economics. Please help!!! I want to send out applications and i'm having second thoughts..
