Is this resume with decorative border and photo acceptable?

I think it adds something but let me know.

Just kidding. But seriously I got SB's locked and loaded for helpful comments. http://www.razume.com/documents/26202

Format looks fine, but try to be more specific/descriptive.

For example: "Performed quantitative and qualitative analysis on three major Chinese sell-side financial institutions."

That really doesnt tell me what you did. For all i know this could mean you googled the stock prices and put them in a power point or copy and pasted a wiki page.

Be specific, give examples of the kind of research you did and the kinds of metrics you used to conduct your analysis.

Or something to that effect, let the person reading your resume know what you did.

If I were reading this: - Too much text. (ex: You better know Intermediate Acctg anyway w/Biz backgrd, FICC vs FI/Curr/Cmdty) - Theres a ton of redundancy. I don't need to see reworded "performed financial analysis" phrases every position. - Get rid of the chinese char, you're interested in the language? Put a type of chinese literature instead. 3 Kingdoms or whatever. Make yourself interesting. Which leads to... - Intermediate language is a wide range...better make sure it's intermediate level.

I've heard for corporate finance they like to see at least Intermediate Accounting thats why I tossed it on there.
