Is your bonus based on specific criteria/metrics?
Hi all - wondering what is normal - is your bonus is based on any particular criteria (e.g. sourcing, management team feedback, collaboration) or just you-get-what-you-get without any true clarity around why?
I'm curious how that changes by level and size of firm/fund.
In my offer letter it said my first year associate bonus would be $160k, but the firm reserved the right to adjust this figure based on personal, fund, and firm performance. But if I get a dollar less than 160k, I'm going to be pissed.
