IU Kelley vs UCSB

IU and UCSB are the best schools I have gotten into so far. I also got into UCSD, but I would rather go to UCSB over UCSD, so I eliminated UCSD from my list. I am waiting for USC, NYU and UPenn. If I get into any of those schools I will go there over UCSB and IU.

I would like to go into IB or Consulting. I'm currently leaning towards IU because it's better for me academically. At IU there is the Consulting Workshop and Investment Banking Workshop, which are competitive, but place very well. At UCSB there's the Finance Connection club, which places well with in the Big 4, and places a couple people into BB/EB banks.

Both schools have great parties and have a good campus vibe, so fit isn't that big off a deal. I did mention weather below because I have lived in so cal my whole, but it's not a major factor. I made a pros and cons list below. I would like to know more about UCSB's placements and what would be a better choice.

IU Kelley Pros:

Finance Major(rather do than Econ)

Better recruiting for IB/Consulting/Low semi-target

Easier to network

IU Kelley Cons:

Expensive~ 60k more over the 4 yrs

(I'm can afford it, but I would like to make it cheaper)

Far from home and the weather is shit

UCSB Pros:

Cheaper~ 60k cheaper over the 4 yrs

Closer to home

Better weather

UCSB Cons:

Nontarget

Econ major

just go to IU if you're dead set on banking or consulting in midwest (basically chicago)- has better placement for those two than UCSB (even on the west coast) IMO. For what it's worth I work in tech (product) in the bay area and hardly meet any folks from UCSB- guessing placement for tech isn't great, not sure where their grads go.
