JP Morgan Asia IBD Summer Analyst Interview - 1st round
Hey guys,
I just received an email stating that I've received a first round phone interview for JP Morgan Asia Investment Banking Division. I'm pretty excited since this is the first interview I've received -- but I also don't know what to expect. Some analysts will be calling me asking first round questions. What kind of questions do you think will be asked? Should I be preparing through the vault guides? Do you think an IBD interview will ask accounting questions? Where can I find the info on JP Morgan's latest deals? Please help as this is my first interview and I really hope to ace it!

they are conducting first round in person?? when did you receive the invitation?
i thought it was very odd too. a previous thread mentioned that JPM HK conducted first round in phone interviews and their superday was around 2/3, so some have been guessing 2/3 in SF would be the "super day." i received the notification around a week ago.

I got the 2nd round too after the first round. I think some people on this board got the 2nd round offer directly for some reason ( maybe my resume is not impressive enough?haha)

I had two phone interviews with JP Morgan Asia for 2011 SA position. But, I've never received updates on what will happen. I checked JPM's application website for my app status, but it doesn't say anything. So, I was wondering if anyone else is having a similar problem or know what's happening? Should I send an email to HR? or just keep waiting?

Currently attending to a US university, just wondering what the process is like for US candidates applying to HK. Is second round the final round? (That would be weird because up until now there has been only phone interviews) What should I expect from second round? Competency or technical? First round was competency based (why JPM, why S&T etc)
How did you apply for the Asia SA? Online? Did they do any OCR at your school?
