JPM Private Banking VS GS PWM (SA Position)
Hi guys, looking for some external advise regarding this very important career choice that I have to make pretty soon. I have received offers for both JPM Private Banking VS GS PWM (SA Position) and I am having a little trouble deciding. Essentially the choice I make will impact the next 3 years of my career as I hope to get the full-time offer after the summer program. Can anyone bring some insight in which firm they think would be the better choice and why? Thanks for your input.
GS is not well-established within the PWM sector, while JPM PB is generally regarded as top-tier and manages wealthier individuals.

Thanks for the feedback - that is the same thing I've heard during my research the past week. I am leaning towards JPM.
On a side note, is CS as well regarded as JPM?
You should find someone who knows what the hours are like at the office you are interviewing for at GS. I know the hours at JPM PB can be pretty bad depending on the group / office...especially considering it is not IB pay.
GS pwm are no easy hours either. Youll be working 12 hours a day on the regular.

Guys I got 2 offers for my sophomore summer internship (don’t ask why its so late, long story) one is JPM Private Banking and the other is GS PWM. I have absolutely no idea which one to choose and I want to do a BB IBD SA next year. GS has the brand name but in terms of work there I don’t think it will be anything substantial. From what I’ve heard JPM PB is the gold standard in PWM/PB and its also very competitive to get in my school but my main question is do the BB IBDs know this about JPM or do they just jizz over GS? Which one do you think I should choose guys? Would also appreciate it if I could get any professionals to chime in. Thanks
