Junior Summer Internship Help

Hello all!

I am completely freaking out since I have not been able to land a junior summer internship yet in finance, while I watch all my peers land superday after superday and sign offers at major BBs. I currently attend a target-school and am at the top of my class GPA wise (I have a 3.93/4.00) while dual majoring in Finance and Data Science. I am also pretty knowledged in most of the relevant technical areas for a finance career like Excel, as well as intermediate in Python.

I know my GPA and skills, as well as the school I attend, alone aren't enough to land me an internship, but I feel like for some reason I am being extra ignored as I rarely ever hear back from any of my applications. I know if I were just given the chance to have an internship, or even just an interview, I would definitely thrive.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me since it is getting pretty late and I don't know what else to do!

Thanks!

Definitely check your resume. I have a far less impressive background than you and a liberal arts major, but I’m at a target and I got first rounds at like 75% of the random boutiques and MMs that I applied cold with zero networking.
