KPMG Strategy vs. AlixPartners Restructuring
Debating between these two post-MBA full-time jobs. In your opinion, what's a better career path/trajectory? What are the exit opportunities? Would love to hear pros/cons. I'm a commercial finance/pricing guy so both of these lines of work would be new to me.
KPMG Strategy projects consist of Transaction Execution (Integration & Separation), Due Diligence (commercial and operational), and Performance Transformation (cost take-out/cutting). A lot of work is M&A driven.
AlixPartners Restructuring projects would consist primarily of debtor consulting work, liaising between client, investment bank, and law firm.
