Landed the SA at a top MM. GPA goes down. Issues?

So, I was fortunate enough to land an SA position at a MM bank (HL, Blair, Baird). Got the job with a 3.6, but faced a tough course load this past semester (spring 2014) and allowed it to slip to a 3.4.

If the bank "required" a 3.5 for on-campus interviews, will my current GPA be an issue in landing the return offer at the end of summer?

I have spoken with friends that have done SA stints and received return offers - they said banks have essentially said "just graduate and enjoy your senior year, don't stress grades". I just don't know if banks will review my current grades before extending the return offer in August.

If anyone has any insight on the issue, it would be greatly appreciated.

They will not consider your 3.4 when giving you an offer. Work your ass of this summer, don't be a dick to anyone and offer as much help as you can. Ask insightful questions and be the last one out -- always. Don't stress over your GPA, nothing you can really do at this point anyways.
