Leaving B4 TAS after 2 months?

Hello!I'm in B4 Transaction Advisory Services and started in July in NYC. This is my first job out of undergrad.I have worked 2 months in TAS and can fully attest that it is TERRIBLE AND NOT IN ANYWAY WHAT PEOPLE SAY IT IS (it is awful and stay away).I went to a non-target and initially wanted to work in PWM. I was recruiting for PWM full-time, but ultimately went with TAS because of limited options and was already in the B4 pipeline so just drank the kool-aid.I have now realized that PWM is the best skillset for me, and, unfortunately, is now what I want to pursue. I've made great connections with people in PWM and just saw an ideal posting for me.Is applying to PWM after a 2 month job going to look poorly to the firm I'm targeting? I'm ready to live and die in PWM since it's something I would stick with.If I apply, do I pretend this 2 month stint never happened and take it off my resume?

Holy fuck. It’s awful!!!! I can’t believe nobody talks about this enough. Everybody says it’s the ideal skillset for IB. They are wrong.

Truth is, you are still doing accounting. You're basically performing quick, high-level, turnaround audits, and fixing historical accounting mistakes from shitty accounting departments.

There are plenty of normal people at the firm, but there are also lots of wannabe "hardos" that think they're bankers, but are really just accountants (see point about how the job is still accounting, not true M&A). These people are insufferable because they take the miserable parts of banking and apply that to consulting. The difference is bankers get paid multiples of their salary in bonuses to make up for this crap; accountants don't.

Don’t do it.
