Leaving PhD midway and getting a job

Hi all,

I am currently a PhD student and leaving the program midway with a Masters' degree for personal reasons. I have couple of years of industry experience in quantitative research. I am super interested in Trading or Quant Trading. I will be graduating next Fall. Should I apply through a regular application process or for senior positions? And when are those jobs generally available? These answers will help me to prepare for trading jobs over the next 4-5 months.

Regards

If you have no experience, you should be starting at the entry level. I'm sorry but there's no way you'll be hired into "senior positions". Your best chance at getting in is probably through an internship, which will be difficult for you if you won't be in school anymore.
