Leerink 2018 Info?
Anyone have insights on Leerink in terms of pay/prestige/exits/culture ? Previous threads on the forum seem to discuss the bank positively but comments are from 2010.

Career Resources
Will they ever open a European office?
Anyone have any insight?
Can't comment on pay/prestige/exits, but I know they are exclusively healthcare focused, with most of their deals being financing rather than M&A. It only has around 200 employees total, and it's S&T/Research division is older and more established.
thanks for sharing your insights. So mostly work on Debt / equity raising for small to mid cap companies in the HC space?

Look up their website to see deals, check linkedin to see exit ops. You will find that it is a great HC bank in terms of deal flow and career opportunities.
You see them a lot in the life sciences space. Half the CIMs that come my way are from Leerink. It looks like they dominate MM (with JPM taking on the large deals). Just my observations from the buy side.
Interesting to hear, what kind of shop are you in? I assume its a MM heathcare fund?
I work at a privately owned pharma company.
Does anyone have any info on how Leerink compares to Cain Brothers? Which firm is better to work at in terms of exit opps, culture etc? Which firm gets the better deals in terms of M&A?
also vs william blair
