Legend at Deutsche Bank
While I was discussing who might succeed Ackermann, a friend mention the existence of a Legend at DB who might be the new CEO. He is simply known as Don Legend at the bank and pulls in more than EUR 20million a year even though he's not on the Board. Anyone know who this might be and what he does?, im assuming he works in trading.
I've also heard of this Legend. Guy does currencies somewhere in Frankfurt I think. Not sure which office
20 mil at an BB seat is not that huge, certainly not enough to be classed as legendary.
And board members dont really bring in money so dont know what you are trying to say there.
thats 20mn EUR which was 30mn USD last year. what makes legendary is that he will succeed Ackermann.
The guy who will succeed Ackermann will be Anshu Jain. At the moment they are planning to bring in another member as Co-CEO which should have as excellent relation/connection to Berlin and Europe as Ackermann has (which will be impossible imho). Therefore I don't think another Investment Banker/Trader will lead the company with Anshu Jain together.
board member bring in a lot, just ask Dimon or Blankfein

my bad I was thinking in terms of revenue brought in, as in he brought in 20 mil. 20 mil in comp is huge.
there is no db fx trader in frankfurt pulling in that amount of money.
