Not all of us can be in BB IB.
Life is fine. You will be doing the same job as people in BB IB, just working on smaller deals. You have some name recognition in the industry and your in NYC, which helps a lot.
Your options after this will be lateraling to a bigger bank, going to MM PE, mid-sized HF, Corp dev/finance/strat..basically all the options you would have at a BB except working at Apollo.
