LinkedIn Profiles Before College?
Recently, I've been getting more and more requests on Linkedin from high schoolers or students about to enter freshmen year. Is this a normal thing nowadays? I feel bad since it seems like these kids can't catch a single break in today's world. How can a high schooler or freshman know what the hell they want to even do with their life?
I guess LinkedIn starts when you start working. I started working at 14yrs old but way before LinkedIn started. I probably would have created a profile.

I was one of those kids in HS. I created a LinkedIn when I had my first internship and that was before going to college.
I think it's tough for kids because the top careers are ridiculously competitive. Sure, banking is, but so is everything else. I just had a buddy get an offer with Microsoft for 2022 so the accelerated timeline is not just unique to finance.
