What level position are you interviewing with them for? Solid MM UK shop. I would say don't be put off by the lack of info on them, as they are known in the UK. Culture and what you expect is important
I know them very well (at least the Chicago office). Bought a company in one of their processes, hung out with them at some industry conferences, gone to sporting events, etc. They are a really solid shop with a growing reputation and presence. I wouldn’t hesitate to interview with them if you’re looking for a job.
I only knew of them in Chicago. It's common for analysts there to lateral to larger banks in Chicago after spending a year or two. Definitely reputable, but if you want to recruit that's the common path as far as I know.
Just wanted to bump this thread and see if anyone has any updated information on them? I have a potential interview on the horizon and was looking for any feedback. The position would be in the Special Situations group.
I am currently in Restructuring Advisory for a boutique, and thinking of making the switch to IB.
How is restructuring not IB?
Because there's a distinct difference between restructuring advisors that assess and implement improvement initiatives and/or handle bankruptcy proceedings (these are not investment bankers).
