Long Weekend Plans

Pretty slow with it being the Friday of a long weekend, wanted to know if you guys had anything interesting going this weekend? How many of you will be studying for the CFA?

I'm hitting a concert tonight (Juicy J) then doing some sailing on Sat.

Juicy J is in Chi?! How'd I miss that one...

My best friend from college at UChicago is flying in today from NYC and a bunch of us are getting together at Ceres for a few drinks (which in Ceres terms will do some serious damage), then we are all going to chow down at Fogo de Chao. Then tomorrow we are going back down to campus for our fraternity's biggest party of the year (big moat dug in the backyard with an island in the middle, 80's rock band for 4 hours, lot of big ten state school girls always come in for it, should be a good time), then going out for the Wings-Hawks game (go Wings!). Then waking up early Sunday and going to my roommates lakehouse in Indiana for some Sunday/Monday raging on the boat.

Then laying in bed and crying when my dreaded 5:45 alarm goes off Tuesday morning and I have to go back to work feeling like I lost my liver in the lake in Indiana.

I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong.

Hoping it doesn't rain all weekend. Suppose to heading to the Hamptons to drink, grill, boat for the few days. Head back to NYC monday night and cry myself to sleep

Which lake? (If you don't mind me asking)

A lot of the northern Indiana lakes are the shit and have some real old money sweet ass mansions.

Lake Freeman. I've never been there sober enough to really pay attention, but I don't remember seeing too many super nice homes, but there are a few around and it's always an awesome time

Yeah he is at the MEtro in Wrigley tonight.

And an hour at Ceres can literally ruin your night plans.(In a good way)

Wow I didn't know U of C has such an active Greek life. Good for you. I hope you guys have some time to stop by hangge uppe after. I bet that place must be crazy this long weekend. I just had a live deal coming in so will be working throughout the weekend which is fine as it appears that it will raining in NYC for a good part of the weekend anyway. Also I am heading to Vegas next weekend to see Tiesto at Hakassan so that more than makes up for it.

Too late for second-guessing Too late to go back to sleep.

Nice, absolutely crushing the weekend

Couple buddies coming up. Tonight: golf, grill, drink. Tomorrow: golf, grill, drink, bars. Sunday: golf, grill, drink, bars. Monday: golf, not drink as much, cry about working the next day.

This to all my hatin' folks seeing me getting guac right now..

CFA studying...torn between wanting Friday to be over and not wanting the weekend to begin

I will not be studying for the CFA exam on this glorious Memorial Day weekend for the first time in 2 years. Bishes.

Of course it's going to rain the entire weekend.

studying/monaco GP

What's your team/driver?

I have been solely RBR fan since BMW left, but have been full Kimi the past two seasons, especially after Vet's "cheating" against Webber.

Monaco will be a blast.

Big Mclaren fan....unfortunately this year they are the 5th best team and last year the car potential was wasted....

I guess I would like to see Rosberg win it, solely because Button doesn't stand a chance and I would hate to see Vettel, Hamilton, Kimi, Alonso take it in that order.

Going to the Canadian GP for the third year in a row in two weeks. Montreal F1 weekend is the shit.

mongoose:

Pirelli better fix this tire mess!

Vettel for the win.

+1, on both accounts. The tire bullshit is ridiculous. Also...I'm convinced Vettel is no man, just a robot crafted for the sole purpose of driving F1 cars. Good to see we have some F1 fans on here, I'm pretty alone in that regard usually.

"When you stop striving for perfection, you might as well be dead."

^^^ Only because it was Monaco and there was no room to overtake. If there was space enough to overtake, Vettel would have overtaken both Mercedes in the opening laps.

I predict a 4th championship for Vettel.
