Major/Minor for IB

Hey guys, I'm a Freshman at a non-target university in the US right now and want to start working as an Investment Banker after I graduate. I'm currently doing a joint major in Economics and Maths and need some help in deciding in a minor. I am debating between Data Science, Finance and Accounting as three potential options. Finance seems the most interesting to me in terms of the classes I will take and that the things I will learn will actually be helpful to me in terms of IB. But Data Science seems like the future and so  I am not too sure what to do. I feel like I would get a higher GPA with the Finance minor cause I will actually be interested and motivated by the classes I take but I don't know if that's the right move. What do you guys think about this situation?

To be straightforward, you are overthinking it. Your minor really does not matter especially if you have a double major. Instead of loading up on classes, focus on research and finance-related projects.
