We all know that Wharton is considered the 3rd best MBA program in the world. However, is it true that people in Africa, the Middle East and Asia consider schools such as Yale, MIT and Columbia as more impressive? I would suspect the average Saudi prince/nigerian oil tycoon/asian ceo to be more aware of the prestige of Yale, MIT and Columbia. This is in spite of the fact that Yale SOM, MIT Sloan and Columbia all fall behind Wharton on rankings.
