have you got AC's already? Last time I talked to HR, they told me ACs will be held in Nov/Dec time. What's it your applied for?
No, but I've had my face-to-face interviews and was asking in advance, in case I do get through!
Have you heard from MS at all?
No. I meant they were telling me they will hold interviews for FT in Nov/Dec time. Is yours SA or fast track?
As far as I remember:
· 2 30 min regular interviews: 1 technical and 1 fit related. · 1 case: 30 min preparation and ~20 min to present to one interviewer. · 1 group case: ~5-10 min or so to prepare, then discuss which solution you recommend in a group of ~6-7 while ~4 (one HR, rest bankers) overlook and then the bankers ask questions to the group. · 1 written test similar to the one you did online.
Rest of the time you're just sitting around. A few points of advice for the cases:
· Think about a framework you can use to evaluate potential M&A targets for the case. An example could be company/market/financial/synergies. Then go through the framework for each target. This makes the case a lot more presentable and shows structured thinking. · For the group case, don't overrule others, let everyone be heard but don't be afraid to say your opinion either. It's a balance but in general just don't be a dick and you should be fine.
Could anyone give an update for the MS London Assessment Centre? I have an AC coming up this month for an IBD summer analyst position.
You can try and check out https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/morgan-stanley-sa-2020?page=1</a">this thread, it is the more recent thread on Morgan Stanley summer positions. Maybe you will find your answer there.
