MSF: Baruch vs. BC vs. Villanova

1. Curious as how Baruch now rates as I would have to believe they must have excellent connections into wall st? I know the program is new.
2. Then throw BC vs. villanova in the mix. i know bc has excellent boston connections, but i think they are pretty good in ny as well, nova has good ny connections, but not so good in beantown?

IMO, I think the Nova MSF has a slight edge over BC unless you are doing the FT day option. Baruch is new and benefits primarily from being in NYC.

Thanks for the quick reply. Doing the FT day 1 year program. I had thought Baruchs zicklin business school was pretty good and would have strong recruiting.

I got accepted into Baruchs MSF program and most probably will be working and going in the evening time. Its an evening program. I'm betting the recruiting isn't too bad because of the connections it already has but lets see. Its a 17k program so its not terribly expensive.

Baruch is a CUNY known mainly for the quality of its accounting program and its low cost. It's not very selective, but it has the enormous advantage of being located in Manhattan. This make it easy to intern during the year, if you're looking to accumulate relevant work experience, and it's obviously convenient for recruiting purposes. At the same time, its FT MSF program is new and therefore it isn't established. Its curriculum appears to be very quanty and I assume it will be saturated with mostly Chinese students.

I don't like the curriculum and its reputation is definitely weaker than that of Villanova and BC. If I were in your shoes, it would be a decision between Nova and BC depending on cost.
