MS/GS vs PJS
Deciding between one of the first two banks and PJ Solomon.
What are your thoughts? I'm specifically interested in P&U/Infra and see that the group at PJS is only 5 years old whereas GS/MS regularly tops the league tables in this area.
Any thoughts on this? Comments on culture/pay?
PJS is a really cool firm but this isn’t even a question GS all day they have the balance sheet and the vast network
thank you Rich, I'm about to hit the 8 hour arm workout!
PJS is a generalist analyst program so its a toss up on being placed on specific industry deals
Not anymore, kid
MS / GS are the two best investment banks in the world, unless there are strong reasons convincing you to take PJ Solomon, would highly recommend going with the top BB
Also you’re thinking of PJT. PJS was founded in 1989, PJT was founded 5 years ago.
no I'm talking specifically about the IPR group within PJS that was founded 5 yrs ago. PJS been around since '89
Go to MS...
This is a no-brainer. PJS is great but they're known for their role in consumer-focused transactions. If you're specifically into infra GS/MS have the upper-hand without a doubt - especially for exits.
Not to revive an old thread but one guy exited from PJS to KKR infra pe
so what
I’d mop the floors at GS/MS before I went to PJS
What this dude said
What’s so bad about it?
