My shoulders look like Bacon.

Random title, but I bought three solid suits from Brooks Brothers about 6 months ago. Two are a really nice Madison fit. All very nice quality in terms of the material and craftsmanship.

The only thing bugging me is that the tailor may have screwed up on the shoulders a bit. He did put in the shoulder pads perfectly, BUT right where the sleeve attaches to the torso, there is some extra foam/padding that protrudes into the sleeve area making my shoulder blade (on the side not the top) kind of look like bacon. Is this normal? I mean, other expensive brands I recently saw (eg. Paul Stuart, etc.) have that area perfectly smooth. I'm not sure if this is just a time based thing or they need a round of dry cleaning or the tailor screwed up.

Are you a chick?

No. Guys are supposed to get padding right? haha

@going_concern thanks.

Haha it sucks because my current group wears business casual with just a tie/nice button down. Suits haven't really been something I'm ultra knowledgeable about and I can't explain why this guy put padding in these suits. I'm learning a crap load about suits and how they should have canvas vs. the padding.

I think we are slowly getting to the root of why the bacon shoulders are present. The tailor probably screwed these up hard...
