Need Advice for Picking Undergrad School: Bentley vs. Northeastern
Hey WSO,
So I'm going to be deciding on a college in the next week or so and was looking for some advice on how I should choose. I've narrowed it down to:
Bentley University: Honors Program, majoring in economics-finance
Northeastern University: Non-honors, majoring in finance
Right now Bentley is going to be 14K / year cheaper than Northeastern. However, Northeastern has the co-op program where you work full time, often making $20+ / hour in in financial firms to gain real world experience. You graduate in 5 years if you choose to do 3 of these co-ops.
Bentley, on the other hand, is a lot more business focused, and I'm in the Honors program which would give me the best access to research opportunities and internships.
I'm also looking to obtain my MBA several years out of undergrad.
So is Northeastern worth paying the premium? Or should I save the money and go to Bentley?
Thanks
I know people don't consider these "target schools", but I love both of these schools and are my two top choices right now out of the colleges I've been accepted to.
