Never heard back from several interviews
Just wondering if this normal. There were several positions that I interviewed for that I never heard back from, including a superday. They were by and large back up positions so I never really bothered to contact them myself.
Do most banks just never bother to tell applicants if they are rejected? Or could it have been something else?
some firms will let you know and others wont. how long has it been since you interviewed?
I just got rejected TODAY for a BB S&T role I interviewed for in November. And only because I had an MD contact tell hr to get their shit together and contact me. Some places can be pretty unprofessional.
My experience is that most will get back to you eventually, but it usually takes a while (>1 month) and all I've ever gotten was a short form letter telling me they went with someone else.
Thanks for the answers. @leveRAGe Interviewed in January for one of them, four or five others were in early February. (These were for SA positions btw) I kind of stopped paying attention after signing my offer, which was around a month ago.
Also, on a semi-related note, one of my top choices rejected me( by phone) a few days after my superday with them but emphasized that I should still apply full time and to not be afraid to reach out to them. Is this just a formality?
