New monkey from Australia with sights in either IB or PE!

Greetings to all fellow WallStreetOasisers,

I am ambitious and goal-oriented individual with sights on a career in investment banking or private equity. I am currently studying Bachelor of Applied Finance and Bachelor of Economics at Macquarie University, Sydney and I am thirsting to get some industry experience this year. I will be finishing this university semester in July and I will be starting an overseas exchange at Shanghai this September. I'm willing to relocate to anywhere in Australia, Singapore or Shanghai. So if anyone has an open opportunity with their firm or advice on how I can better position myself to secure an internship this year please share it with me. Hope to talk to you soon.

Kind Regards,
Gerald Loh.

Australian internship applications open soon (if they aren't open already) and interviews are in July - make sure to apply for those. Keep in mind that you might be overseas on exchange when they start (most start in late November, one or two in early December).

I'm too late :( I'm searching for a two month internship between July-September. My overseas exchange goes from September to January..
