Post-Banking Startup Experience Wanted
I quit my banking job and have some time off before starting at a MM PE shop later this summer. I have always been interested in startups and think now may be a good time to get some experience working with new companies. My goal is to eventually found my own startup so I am thinking it may be a good use of my time to try to get involved with startup accelerators in my city in some capacity. Has anyone done this before? Do accelerators need help from people with my experience (3+ years of inv. banking)? I am happy to donate my time, just really looking to learn a lot and see if I can help entrepreneurs scale their businesses so one day I can do the same. If you know anyone who has done this, or if you have done it yourself, please let me know what the best route is and if you have any recommendations.
Cheers
