Hi, I was wondering how much I can expect to make in private equity? I have the opportunity to go to a target school in Canada, and I originally was premed, but have developed a liking for finance. I know that investment banks 100k+ in the states, but I how much can you expect to make in buyside finance. Say for example, I go to a good MM firm or a MF, would I be expecting to make over 200k. And say if suppose, I go to a good business school, would I be making in the 300k+ range post-mba private equity or even at a hedge fund? Are my assumptions correct? Thanks in advance.
