Product Development Officer position at Allianz Global Investors
Hi all,
I'm new here and on the job hunt. I saw this position advertised and was wondering if anyone can shed more light on what exactly this kind of job is like. Is this more "back/middle office" job or "front office"? The job description is as follows:
1. Responsible for all offshore fund related tasks, including fund merger, liquidation, change of investment strategy, change of fund operational process, etc. and is expected to coordinate with departments to respond to related changes.
2. Prepare documents required for filing and client-communication purpose- Collect and coordinate data and comments necessary for such regulatory updates.
3. Track regulatory changes, analyse potential business impact and provide solutions.
4. Ad-hoc assignment.
Requirements:
- University graduate with major of Finance related. Master degree is a plus.
- At least 4-years of working experience and 2-years experience in Fund business.
- Good project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business, operations and suppliers at all levels of management
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in written documents, is required.
