PwC Deal Advisory vs. Stifel IB
Hey, would appreciate any help/considerations. Both FT entry level offers - which is better for IBD long-term?

Career Resources
depends on the group/city for both
which groups and location? also is it pwc corporate finance aka mm ib or is it like deal advisory in the sense that it is pre and post M&A integration ? makes a big difference
it's in PwC corporate finance, so would be hands-on deal experience alongside studying ACA
Maybe I’m missing something but if you want to want to work in IB long term, you should take the job in........IB. There will always be opportunities to lateral once you have deal experience under your belt
Haha, fair, thanks. Would PwC corp fin not provide similar MM deal exposure though?
No. Stifel, while not a MM is still much better than PwC in the U.S.
How is this a question
The thinking was that the role in PwC corp fin would be advising on MM deals and so would the role in Stifel; interested to hear how their perceptions differ in industry
This. Stifel hands-down. That being said, what location / group?
Stifel. PwC deal advisory is not real investment banking (why do you think they're making you get the ACA?)
There is no debate here. I hope you didn't choose wrong.
haha thanks, didn’t realise it was this clear-cut so I appreciate the advice
Stifel 100% and then you can lateral to another company if you want.
Stifel. Not even a question
obvious troll
You did IB at some point?
