Questions about SA Applications
Monkeys,
I have a few questions regarding SA Applications for next Summer in the U.S.
1) When is a good time to fill these out? Are they even available yet?
2) Lets say my Resume changes after I have filled out my application (due to a Fall semester internship), can you edit an application and change your resume?
3) How many positions should you apply for? I am strictly looking for IBD, but I am open to groups within this such as DCM, ECM or Lev Fin. Do I apply to these as well, or does this fall within Investment Banking and they will just stick you in one of these groups throughout the interview process?
4) Along with #2, I am a transfer student and have N/A listed as my GPA for my new school since I wont have a GPA until the end of Fall semester. So probably around Christmas time this year. In this case, is there a way to upload a new resume with a GPA for the new school or no?
------------
And lastly, this one is separate from the topic above, but its been bothering me for a while. There are two BB's that I really want to work for, simply because of the contacts I have there and how helpful everyone has been and how they have been able to tour me around the building and introduce me to other people. When applying for other banks, how do you guys answer the "Why did you choose X bank" if it is not one you are even interested in? In my case for these two specific BB's, I have many reasons to answer that, but for the "fluff" of my applications to places I don't really care about, I am curious as to how I should approach this one.
Thanks
