Big 3 credit dress code
What is the dress code at S&P/Moodys/Fitch like? Group specific? When I interviewed they were wearing polos and dress shirts but that was also a Friday. I'm sure HR will fill me in but I'd like to throw some stuff on the Christmas list.
Dress code varies within each practice at S&P. Generally speaking for big three, expect business casual unless you're meeting with clients.
At Moody's, it's business casual. Think khakis/dress pants, polos/dress shirts.
Does dress code stay the same on Fridays? That already seems pretty casual.
I interned at Fitch and most wore slacks/dress pants, and dress shirts. Meetings called for jacket usually. It all depends on the group, however during the summer a lot of people wore polos/khakis.
So would it be normal to wear a suit no tie and then just leave the jacket at my desk each day?
I have worked at two of the three (both full time positions). In both the dress code was the same: busines casual. Only exception is at meetings and events when you need to suit up. At least in my office there were no casual fridays, everyday was the same (pretty casual though)
Tux if dealing with IG securities for the day, business casual for non-IG, cargo shorts for highly distressed

I'm interning at one of the big 3 rating agencies this summer. Does anyone know what the dress code is at rating agencies? Laid back business casual or formal with suits?
