Salary negotiation after probation

I started a new role with a multi-strategy investment office in the beginning of the year after 2 years in IB (both in London). My contract states that the salary will be revisited at the end of the probation period.

It's a small shop with 15 people, the cultural/social fit is strong and they are happy with my work so far. However, they started me at my most recent salary in IB (company policy) and I'd like a bump.

Given the current situation, what would be a good way to approach this? Since it's a small place, the pay is not standardized, but I also don't want to rub anyone the wrong way.

Thanks!

Yes - the discussion of the performance is taking place, and I want to be prepared for the compensation part of it.

My question was more along the lines of what arguments I could provide once we get to the discussion? Ideally, I would like them to start with a number first (unlikely), but I need to be prepared to justify an increase of £x.
