Sales Intern in AM looking to move to sell side
I'm currently interning in sales at a boutique AM firm going into my final year of a target university in September. I'm really lost as to what to do next as the firm I'm at offers no grad scheme after. Should I try out the sell side and try for an internship in Ib? Would I struggle to get in? Or should I stick to the buy side in another internship or grad scheme.
My experience of Asset management has been great but I think I want to have a more analytical role rather than sales going forward. What would you advise?
