Sciences Po Paris
Hi,
I'm interested in pursuing a Master of Science at Sciences Po Paris, I've heard that they have a great brand name and on the top of that multiple prestigious partnerships with Top 30 B-school all over the US.
Any recommendations ?
Thanks a lot

- For those in their 30s+, where in your career are you vs. where you thought you would be in your 20s?Hey all, so the question is relatively straightforward. Specifically for monkeys in their 30s/40s, where are you in your career right now vs. where you thought you would be in your 20s? This can include job function (ex. moving from IB VP to CD or PE), career growth (ex. associate to...

Which master?
What's your goal?
Help us to understand your points bro
Hi and thanks for your answer!
I've heard about the Msc in Wealth Management, they have a partnership with Societe Generale (4 months rotational program during the masters year), main goal would be to get in PWM, start in Europe and possibly move to the US after a couple years
Best regards
Seems a good idea. Check if they have double degree options or exchange with USA partners! SciencesPo has great brand
Thanks for the advice I'll double check but I think they have Stanford and a couple others major brands
Sounds like a good choice. Assuming that you'd do well in PWM and end up building your own book, a move from the US would be very difficult as you'd have to start from scratch again. Just a thought

agreeing with @kinghongkong . Man if you have question about France ask to him (Y)
Thanks for the praise and SB! Always appreciated :)
To be fair, I don't think I am the best person to ask about things regarding France. I have some insight because I lived there for some time and have a lot of friends who are going to recruiting processes here and there right now, but that hardly makes me an expert.
Yes I know, I'm really worried about that book issue...
Do you believe that even if you're European book is worthless in the US your demonstrated RM skills in your past job won't be considered at all?
I'm quite new in the business, but would it be like tabula rasa and start again with a brand new book or do they provide you a base proportional to your experience?
Thank you for your time and consideration
has anyone attended Sciences Po on here? I'd appreciate a quick PM or reply, as I would like to ask a few questions.
Thanks!
I didn't.
But a close high school friend of mine aced it there: Summer at Centerview that led to FT offer, followed by a London PE internship.
And now, he's considering applying for MBB consulting positions. Quite frankly, the school opened a lot of doors for him.
On LinkedIn, I hand-picked some graduates working as Analysts for Deutsche and Citi (Tier 1, but in Paris, not London, unfortunately).
Big problem for non french-speakers is that the Master of Finance and Strategy is delivered in french. Hopefully, they'll change that in the coming years. The school is trying to emulate LSE in all regards.
Thanks a lot, I saw Sciences po as the french LSE
If you don't mind me asking, did end up you attending SP? And are you a French-speaker?
I am deciding between Warwick and Sciences Po (for economics, and looking mainly for a job in London or the US).
Hi, I finally chose to attend the Msc in Wealth Management at Sciences Po, great teaching, great professional experience delivered with an integrated internship at Societe Generale.
I just accepted an offer to work in an asset management firm in the UK. Hope this helps
