Soon to be Rising Senior who recently got interested in Mgmt Consulting. Do I have a shot?

So I just got interested in management consulting over the past couple of months and I was just curious to see if my background would make me competitive for a full-time position at a MBB or T2 firm.

Econ Major @ a Target (think Cornell/Dartmouth/UPenn CAS) Incoming summer analyst in a cooperate strategy and bus dev group at an F500 company GPA: low 3.4 (this will rise to ~ 3.5 at the end of the semester) Pretty good extracurriculars but nothing spectacular

Does my background check out or will I need to network like crazy?
