Start full-time early after getting a return offer?

Going in as a summer analyst for BB IBD this June (NYC). I have enough credits to graduate a semester early so I was thinking about trying to (pending return offer) start full-time in January after the summer instead of doing another semester of school that spring. I'm pretty set on doing this (want to get jump on rest of my analyst class, have more deals done for PE recruiting, and have no remaining interest in school or greek life, etc.) so I just want to see if it's feasible.

Has anyone ever seen this done / know how common it is? I'm a little worried about BB bureaucracy and protocol making this hard. Thanks!

Dw, I will tell you what I know: JP Morgan didnt let a friend of mine do that, at BAML I know 2 kids having done it and at GS an intern at a top group did it this summer, in any case not sure if these are exceptions or if there is any rule

I know this post might not be what you are looking for, but here you go.

I think every person I know who did this ended up regretting it. I am regretting it right now (though my situation is a bit different).

If you have some money, why not go travel? If you don't, why don't you take some time off and do something for personal improvement?

You've been working non-stop in high school to get good grades to get into a good college. You've been working non-stop in college to get good grades and get through recruitment.

What's the rush? 6 months, in the long-haul, won't make a world of difference for your career. But, it could make a world of difference mentally preparing you for the long-haul.
