Stop Whining

It isn't most people here and if it isn't you then disregard this, but there is a large population of this site that loves to complain about how hard they work or how investment banking is broken or how they aren't sure they can do it anymore. It reads like the lot of you forget that this is a choice. Nobody is making you be a banker or work long hours that is your choice. If you don't want to do it quit your job and go do something else instead of complaining on an internet forum about the hours or the effects it has on your life. There is no way that could have any benefit to you. Damn you could almost say if you spent that time doing something useful instead of complaining you would have less to complain about. It feels like a lot of people on this site forget this is choice(maybe even a privilege) not a punishment.

Based off your previous posts and ruthless attack for no reason - I am going to guess and say that you are still in school and did not solidify a SA position for this summer. Its okay bud, maybe next year.

Funniest

Are you... whining about people whining?

It isn't most people here and if it isn't you then disregard this, but there is a large population of this site that loves to complain about how how much other posters complain. It reads like the lot of you forget that reading is a choice. Nobody is making you read certain posts, that is your choice. If you don't want to do it just don't read the post and go do something else instead of complaining on an internet forum about how annoying it is to read about other people's complaints. There is no way that could have any benefit to you. Damn you could almost say if you spent that time doing something useful instead of complaining you would have less to complain about. It feels like a lot of people on this site forget this is choice(maybe even a privilege) not a punishment.

You're still a junior in college, so until you've stayed up until 4am doing the most mundane, meaningless bullshit and don't complain about it after doing that for multiple days in a row, I'd stfu.

If there's one thing I learned during the my summer internship, complaining and whining are an integral part of investment banking culture throughout the hierarchy. MDs complain about clients, VPs complain about MDs/Clients, Associates complain about MDs/VPs/Clients, and Analysts complain about all of the above.
