SVB Leerink Tech vs. Healthcare - Which Group is Better in Terms of Culture/Pay/Prestige/Exit Opps

I am a current sophomore at a top 20 university (ND/NYU/Gtown/Duke/BC/Vandy) and I have heard a lot on the forum recently about SVB Leerink, although most of the talk about SVBL has been about their new tech team. I am equally interested in both HC and Tech IB and I was curious to hear about which group is better in terms of culture/pay/prestige/exit opps as I head into recruiting season.

I am also curious to know what the difference is between the three offices (Boston/SF/NYC) for both HC and Tech?

Leerink is strong af in SMID-cap healthcare, especially within Biotech/Therapeutics/Spec Pharma. Prior to being acquired by SVB, healthcare is all Leerink did. Their tech group is very new and was made possible after they were acquired by SVB with a large poaching of UBS TMT bankers. So their TMT business is still very green given this was done in March of 2021.
