switching cities post analyst stint
I'm going to be starting FT in Houston. I plan on leaving the South after my two year analyst stint.
How easy will it be for me to get PE jobs in NY or the West Coast? Do Houston offices really only place well in the South?
Do PE shops in the east coast and west coast give the same consideration to analysts not located in the east coast or west coast respectively?
I should also add, I will be focusing on energy in Houston. Is it at all possible for me to get a job at PE firms that specialize in technology or healthcare or am I stuck doing energy?
