Syria, yayyy

Apparently, the US is already involved in Syria, thereby nullifying all the political debate of the last few weeks.

Despite the last week or so of incredibly dishonest (and laughably amateurish) politicking, the simple truth is that the US defense establishment has decided the Assad dictatorship is going down in flames. You don't have to like it, that's just how it is. Personally, I'd like to have seen the Navy drop a few cruise missles on his head years ago, I'm not sure why anyone waited until NCBR weapons came out to play. But hey, funding insurgents has worked in the past. Hopefully the US sends in a clean up and reconstruction crew so we don't have blowback like we did from the '79 war (see: 911). Let Putin beat his chest, and let the media rhetoric twits run their mouths, nothing will stop this. Facts are, when a CIA op is voluntarily disclosed, it just means that they've already accomplished what they've set out to do and are already on to the next thing. It's a pretty established pattern of behavior.

What will this do to the markets, how does this affect energy prices, and what do you all think?
