TAS Gameplan: MM IB
Hello everyone. I am about to start full-time in transaction advisory services in the US and super fired up. This will be my first experience with transactions and I'm pumped to see what the field is really all about.
I understand there's a trend of IB analysts working for 1-2 years before leaving; sometimes 6 months or 1.5 years or even 2 year mark. I am curious how the trend of leaving looks like for TAS analysts. I think I'll enjoy TAS, but, if for any reason I want to leave for another challenge, I would hope to end up at a MM IB.
If I hope to be a competitive candidate for a middle market investment banking analyst job, how long should I stay as a TAS analyst?
- On a side note, best way to standout before and during working in TAS?
